The Books

For thirty five years Mary has been published both in Australia and internationally, with gardening, cooking and lifestyle books, plus her four best-selling memoirs.

 

Mary has written more than forty gardening books, many of which have been translated and sold internationally.

 

Over the last ten years she has written four popular memoirs - Au Revoir, Last Tango in Toulouse, The Long Hot Summer and Sweet Surrender. She wrote a tender portrayal of a local rural French restaurant owned by five generations of women in one family (Lunch with Madame Murat) and also made a documentary film on the same subject for SBS television.
